Dec: On market for faculty position in Mechanical Engineering/ Robotics.
June: One paper about Multi-functional digging robot has been accepted at iROS2025, Hangzhou, China.
January: I am honored to be elected co-chair of the "Complex Active and Adaptive Material Systems (GRS)" of 2027.
January: One paper about Self digging/unburrowing robot has been accepted at RoboSoft 2025.
2024
July 10: I am pleased to have received a generous award from the UCSD MAE Stanford S. "Sol" Penner Post-Doctoral Research Travel Award. I will be traveling to ASME SMASIS 2024 in Atlanta!
April 17: I was proud to volunteer at RoboSoft 2024. Thank you to everyone who attended!
March 12: We are building an exciting test setup and data collection system to simulate locomotion in the seafloor. We are looking for help!
March 11: My last PhD paper was unfortunately rejected again. I am looking for a suitable venue to publish this work and complete my PhD.
March 3: I was pleased to contribute to 2024 edition "A Roadmap for U.S. Robotics".
February 2: I was happy to share my work on origami-inspired devices at the UCSD RoboGrad workshop, "Design and Fabrication of Multi-Layer Laminate Origami-Inspired Robots."
2023
October 13: Bioinspired Robotics and Design Lab (BRDL) participated in Walter Munk Day!
August 23: I started my Postdoc at UCSD.
